Arches National Park is the home of Delicate Arch, the symbol of Utah. There are many impressive arches within the park although most of them can only be reached by foot.

We took the trail up to Double O Arch which took us up past Landscape Arch, the longest one measuring 206 feet from base to base. Delicate Arch can be viewed up close or from the Delicate Arch Viewpoint from where we saw it. At the Windows Section, the easy trail leads past several arches. It was here that the beginning of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" was filmed.

In the evening we drove along the banks of the Colorado River to Potash, stopping to look at the Petroglyphs. Were aliens here? The pictures certainly look like it!
